NZ’s International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy

Many travelers applying for an NZeTA are also required to pay NZ’s International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL). This levy helps support New Zealand's tourism infrastructure and environmental conservation projects. The IVL is generally collected during the ETA application process. Travelers should check whether they are required to pay the levy before submitting their application.
